HTTP Accelerator

Information about the Varnish caching engine that serves as an HTTP accelerator for the EDRN Public Portal.

Apache HTTPD Configuration

This is a sample configuration for Apache HTTPD that should be used with the EDRN Public Portal. In this file, replace α with a preferred private port number for HTTPD to receive requests from Varnish (8100 suggested); replace β with the port number of the Zope application server (8101 suggested); replace γ with the path to the TLS certificate file; and replace δ with the path to the certificate key file. These changes may be replaced in the existing httpd.conf file or this file may be appended to or included from httpd.conf.
