Project Description

IPDA Library
Project resources

The International Planetary Data Alliance specifies protocols for cross-institution search and retrieval of planetary data. The IPDA Library implements those protocols, enabling researchers to use this API in their own scientific analysis programs to make accelerated discovery and extremely wide cross-corellation thanks to uniform access to the world's repositories of plantary data.

This API, developed in the nimble Python programming language, is easy to use and integrate into novel as well as existing analysis programs. It's also used as the core of the IPDASearch web service, which uses it to provde access to NASA's planetary data sets.
